Zangfu Exercise Routines

Zangfu is the idea in Traditional Chinese Medicine that describes the functions of the organs of the body and it follows the Wuxing (Five Element) theory of the interactions that occur between them. The Zang organs (Kidney, Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung) are considered to be Yin and are paired with the Fu organs (Bladder, Gallbladder, Small Intestine, Stomach, Large Intestine) which are considered to be Yang. Therefore the Zangfu Routines are the exercises specifically for these organs (the Sanjiao, Triple Heater, is not included in these basic routines).
